I predict that in two weeks, Constance will hear Jimmy moaning in the bathroom, and he won't be able to sit comfortably for a few hours. _________________

Kathy and I hit up Miles Furniture's goin' out o' bidness sale hard this weekend. Got a REALLY nice new couch, new it's like a $1500 couch, got it for $400. Also got an end table, a hall table, and a mirror today for $350, not as good of a deal IMHO but Kathy really liked them and they fit well in the house.
They still have a good amount of stuff left, TONS of oriental rugs that they're doing CRAZY deals on. It's all haul it home yourself now as well.
Needless to say I'll be putting my old couch up for sale soon - it's a sweet couch, paid serious dollah for it 6 years ago.

Thanks for the input Dale, I've been casually searching for new furniture and I saw that sale but have yet to check it out. I was going to ask if anyone on here has bought anything from Rooms To Go. They seem to have some really good deals, good enough that I question the quality of the sofas, like a full sectional with day bed, ottoman or recliner, end tables, lamps and 42'' samsung tv for $1900 _________________

We bought a really nice entertainment center from Rooms to Go for a decent price. I remember seeing a bedroom set we really wanted, but we just didn't have the cash at the time. I will also add that Whiting Furniture does hella deals on name brand furniture. I bought my bedroom set there years ago and it is still like new. _________________

My buddy just got one of those deals for his gaming room. I think it gets dropped off this week. I will let you know what I think of it. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks Tut, I'd hate to spend $2000 only to find out the couch is coming apart at the seams and the tv is a reman pos. I've come to fully believe in "you get what you pay for" most of the time. Then again I've never bought new furniture so I dunno what it goes for haha. _________________

So I'm driving to work today, and what do my eyes spy but a 2002+ NSX in a beautiful blue color parked in front of a really sleezy $5000 car type of car lot on the corner of Hollywood. It gets me thinking about always wanting to try an NSX. So I check out NSX Prime forums and do some research at work concluding that a 2002 model is worth about $47000 which I would be willing to pay if it was a good looking car and I could unload the Z06.
I get there and there is still no price or anything on it, and I can see it has a couple pennies in the tray and a glass ashtray on the passenger side floormat. So I walk in the sleezy office and ask if the NSX is for sale. The guy says it is a 2002 with 60,000 miles and we wants $60k for it. I held my laughter in and said good luck with that buddy. He then tells me he looked it up and 18 of them have sold recently for between 60 and 70k. I didn't even want to talk about it anymore at that point so I resisted even asking to look at it or test drive it.
Why do these guys think just because 8000 were made that a 2002 Acura should garner 2009 M3, Z06, and Cayman S type money. Even the guys on the NSX forum seem to not understand this phenomenon. Sites like KBB put the value at way over what real people are paying for them as even though they didn't sell many, they aren't anything special. According to them 5,000 miles a year is average mileage so this one was a high mileage car as well. Oh well, back to the drawing board for my next car. Although it sure looked sexy with the fixed HID headlights, blue paint, and forged wheels. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
