Fighters Mini Battery Kits

The Fighters MBK helps save weight along with freeing up important space in the engine bay. The kits drop 15-26 pounds when compared to a full-size battery! Not only does your car drop weight, but the engine bay is easier to work in and it looks cleaner when the hood is open.

All Fighters kits come with a bolt-on mounting bracket that supports the battery. No custom fabrication or rigging is involved. Simply bolt the bracket in, slide the battery into the bracket and you're done. All kits have the battery surrounded on all sides so that it will not move around when under heavy acceleration/braking/etc. Also, there is an adjustable strap that can be quickly loosened for removal/install of the battery. The strap is rated to 900 pounds to ensure long life and safe use.

SRT-4 / 00+ Neon Mini Battery Kit opens up space around the SRT-4's intake while saving over 16 pounds! The SRT-4 intake snakes around the battery and is a tight fit. While not only saving weight, the Fighters MBK saves space as there is now more room to clear the intake along with a ton of extra room in the battery tray itself. This extra space can be used to relocate the stock solenoid rack, to hold an EBC solenoid, an MSD ignition box or tach adapter, or any item that would otherwise have to be jammed into a cluttered engine bay.

00+ Sentra / SE-R Mini Battery Kit saves 26 pounds! We were shocked when we weighed the Fighters battery and the stock battery. The Sentra stock battery is the heaviest of all the cars that we have tested! Not only does the MBK save 26 pounds, but it frees up a ton of room in the engine bay. This space savings is great for cars equipped with cold air intakes or intercooler piping that routes around the battery. Now you have more space for piping and the battery tray has extra room to hold an array of items like an ignition box, EBC solenoid, etc. There is no need to find a spot for these extra items and simply jam them somewhere.

Evo 8/9 Mini Battery Kit saves over 20 pounds and frees up room in the engine bay. There are many intercooler piping kits that require the use of a mini battery and this kit fits the bill nicely. It uses stock mounting points and is a simple bolt-in install. Also, the battery is surrounded on all sides so that it doesn't move during hard braking or accelleration. The Evo isn't a lightweight car and any weight savings will surely help.

93-5 RX-7 Mini Battery Kit frees up important space while saving over 20 pounds! The FD's recipe for success is being a lightweight car that handles wonderfully, so why not drop some weight off the car while making it easier to turn a wrench. The huge stock battery can interfere with aftermarket intercooler plumbing while the Fighters MBK opens up a large space and does not interfere with any turbo or cooling piping.

86-91 RX-7 Mini Battery Kit saves over 20 pounds and frees up room for intercooler piping. The stock battery is huge and can get in the way of aftermarket intercooler piping since the cold side of the piping runs right next to it. With the Fighters MBK, you are given much more space to work with and route your plumbing. If your FC is non-turbo, you will still drop 20 pounds and have more free space for turning wrenches or mounting extra items like ignition boxes.
